Kingdoms of Sound offers a dynamic method of using breath, imagery, and focussed intention to open up the main sound chambers of the body, and fill them with the resonant sound of your own voice. Allied to the chakra system, this work is designed to harness the healing power of the human voice to balance male and female energies, heal the past, create a firm grounding in an authentic present and open up possibilities for the future.

In each session we journey into the dynamic sounds of the lower chakras, tapping into ancient powers which have been suppressed by parental and familial or tribal codes and in the wider context of social and religious repression. These energies are then tempered by the heart and higher chakras to bring balance and integration The work helps us find our own strength and power; not as strident and aggressive but with the flowing, natural power of the elements, intuition and connection to nature and co-operation between masculine and feminine energy.

The work can benefit professionals as well as those looking for a way to connect to their intuitive, creative, authentic core for self development and healing.
The vocal exercises are very simple to follow and don’t require any previous experience of voice work though the effects can be quite potent!
